Kia, Rio, 2007, SRS-AirBag, Code(s): unk, airbag light

I have an Airbag light on. First noticed when passenger seat was occupied. Now it comes on when ignition is turned on, (as it should) it then goes off, then comes back on. It does this now even with only the driver. Does this mean the Airbags are not working.
Found the DLC tried to connect the 12 pin location to the 6th pin location.
For the 1.6L the 12th pin is gnd. The 6th pin is blank.

What is anouther possible SRS pin position.

Thank You

This sounds like it could be to do with the pressure sensor under the passengers seat. If these give trouble, then they will set a code. Sounds like it was intermittent, then has become a hard fault. If the pins aren't in the diagnostic connector, then it is likely that it won't be able to give flash / slow codes.
